DrayApp Privacy Policy

DrayApp (the mobile version of DrayTab), developed by DrayData, Inc., is designed to help drivers receive dispatches, update milestones, upload documents, and support operational workflows in real time. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information within the DrayApp mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information Provided by Users

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, driver ID, and other identifiers required for login and authentication.
  • Uploaded Content: Photos, documents, and notes submitted by the driver as part of dispatch workflows or electronic manifests.


b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Location Data: Real-time and background location data used to provide geofenced milestone updates, ETA calculation, navigation routing, and compliance with customer tracking requirements.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, and diagnostic data that help improve performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Usage Data: Buttons tapped, screens viewed, timestamps, and feature usage to improve usability and app reliability.


c. Integration Data (When Enabled by the Customer)

  • ELD Data (Motive, Samsara, etc.): Hours of Service, odometer readings, and shift activity when the customer’s account is connected.
  • Navigation Integration (CoPilot): Route information and ETA details.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this data to:

  • Deliver dispatches and real-time operational updates.
  • Automatically update milestones via geofencing.
  • Generate electronic driver manifests.
  • Support customer tracking, reporting, billing, and compliance workflows.
  • Provide navigation, routing, and ETA calculations. Improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
  • Maintain security, authentication, and fraud prevention.

 

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share information only in the following cases:

  • With your employer or fleet: DrayApp is a business tool. All operational and location data collected is shared with the fleet using DrayFleet or related DrayData platforms.
  • With integrated partners: Only when enabled, such as ELD providers (Motive, Samsara) or navigation tools (CoPilot).
  • With service providers: For analytics, error logging, hosting, or push notifications.
  • When required by law: If necessary to comply with legal obligations or enforce our terms.


We never share information with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Location Information

DrayApp relies on accurate location data to provide core functionality.

Location is used for:

  • Geofenced milestone updates
  • Driver ETAs and routing
  • Electronic manifests
  • Safety and compliance reporting


Location collection continues in the background only when required by the employer to support operational workflows.

5. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security practices including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication and access controls
  • Monitoring and auditing of system activity

DrayApp is intended for professional commercial use only and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Your Choices
  • You may disable location services through your device settings, but doing so will disable key features and may prevent you from using the app.
  • You may request corrections or updates to your personal information through your employer or DrayData support.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted within the app and/or app store listings.
